We currently have more than 60 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children at Killarney Vale. All the children are invited to attend Aboriginal cultural activities on Fridays. We will be learning about and celebrating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture through art, cooking, music, singing, dancing, local and Australia wide traditions and history.
The Koori Choir consists of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and their friends and provides opportunities for the children to be immersed in and celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture through music as well as gaining self esteem, performance experience, confidence and friendship building with children from other schools.
